Remember, a successful relationship takes effort.\u00a0 They occur when couples take the time to communicate what is going on in their heads and their hearts! \u00a0\u00a0Learn from these tips to keep your relationship happy and successful.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"trsubheading\">\n<li>Understand that men and women are very different.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Understanding our differences will make being in a relationship more interesting, fun, and peaceful.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol class=\"trsubheading\" start=\"2\">\n<li>Communicate openly.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Healthy couples do not avoid conflict and keep the lines of communication open.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"trsubheading\" start=\"3\">\n<li>Do not forget the small things.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Saying \u201cplease, and \u201cthank you.\u201d\u00a0 Good manners and respect go a long way and will promote a climate of mutual respect.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"trsubheading\" start=\"4\">\n<li>Exercise together.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Exercise is a productive and healthy way to spend time together.\u00a0 Studies show that couples who exercise together are healthier and more satisfied in their relationship.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"trsubheading\" start=\"5\">\n<li>Take a vacation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>A couple\u2019s getaway can be energizing for any relationship.\u00a0 Being away from everyday stressors will supply you with more momentum.\u00a0\u00a0 After your break, you will return more impassioned about your relationship and more in love!<\/p>\n<ol class=\"trsubheading\" start=\"6\">\n<li>Laugh together.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Even if you have a stressful day at work, try smiling and laughing.\u00a0 Maybe relax, unwind, and watch a funny movie together.\u00a0 Laughing and humor will make you happy and healthier.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"trsubheading\" start=\"7\">\n<li>Eat together.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Eating together will provide an opportunity to spend quality time with each other.\u00a0 This will provide you with a space for good conversation and laughter.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"trsubheading\" start=\"8\">\n<li>Occasionally switch roles.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If your partner always drives, you take the wheel.\u00a0 If your partner does all the cooking, why not prepare a few meals for you both.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"trsubheading\" start=\"9\">\n<li>Never go to bed angry.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you disagree at night when you are both tired, agree to discuss the situation the next day.\u00a0 This way things will be much more transparent, and changes to resolve the problem will be more successful.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"trsubheading\" start=\"10\">\n<li>Be tolerant of physical changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Both you and your partner will mature and change.\u00a0 Do not be too quick to point out what you may see as physical flaws. \u00a0When your partner asks, \u201chow do I look?\u201d Always point out the positives.<\/p>\n<p>At times, for couples facing everyday stressors such as work overload, and family issues, it is often very easy to make things more complicated than needed.
