The Camali Autism service was created to provide a wide array of evidence-based individualized programs and interventions to support children on the Autism Spectrum and their families and to improve their overall Quality of Life.
We use a holistic approach to developing a pathway for each child that supports them throughout the lifespan. This starts with a series of assessments to ascertain the child’s individual needs after which we create a multi-disciplinary intervention plan utilizing Evidence-Based approaches including Applied Behaviour Analysis, Speech and Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy. The form of therapy depends on the child’s needs and can be conducted through one-on-one sessions, joint sessions, or group therapy, and can be in the clinic and other environments, including; home, school, or community setting.
Interventions for children on the Autism Spectrum can initially be very intensive and will engage all those involved in the child’s life. This may include family members, clinicians and educators. This ensures continuity of the intervention programs and promotes generalization in different settings with different individuals, which ultimately leads to positive outcomes and improved Quality of Life.
