For Schools & Parents

At Camali clinic we are passionate about mental health services and provision for children, adolescents and adults here in the UAE. We work with many parents, schools and organisations to offer direct support but we also offer education and awareness of emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties that may be faced by individuals.
Teachers, parents and support staff have a significant role to play in identifying children with mental health problems. The clinic supports parents, teachers, school counsellors and nurses worried about the behaviour of a student by hosting training courses and suggesting assessments where needed.

There are several red flags to look out for in children who might present the following conditions:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Dyslexia
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Self-harm
  • Stress
  • Other mental health difficulties
  • Other social behaviours out of the ordinary

We help parents, teachers, nurses and school counsellors review unusual symptoms of language, social, behaviour and learning disorders, and help devise strategies for classrooms to manage difficulties the young person might be facing.

We have various programmes available for children and adolescents to support them in their needs for inclusion into mainstream school.

We also offer various educational training to schools and organisations to promote understanding of mental health needs for children with practical advice and guidance. This can either be to staff or in the form of parent workshops. We can deliver training on-site or in our training centre in DHCC.
