Child & Adolescent Psychologist
Dubai Healthcare City Child, Jumeirah Lake Towers
Emmanuelle Massad is a Child & Adolescent Psychologist with a Masters degree in Educational and Child Psychology from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon, and a Bachelors degree in Clinical Psychology from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik, Lebanon. She has completed specialized certifications in Trauma Healing using the Flash Technique, Relationship Coaching, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Adolescents.
Emmanuelle brings a multidisciplinary, integrative perspective to her practice, drawing on biological, cognitive, psychodynamic, behavioral, and humanistic frameworks. She blends structured, pragmatic methodologies with creative modalities to support the emotional, social, and psychological well-being of children, teenagers, and young adults. Dedicated to providing compassionate care, she creates a safe, grounded space where patients and their families can build long-term resilience.
Emmanuelle is known for creating a warm, supportive environment where patients feel secure enough to explore deep self-reflection and process complex emotions. Her approach balances action-oriented, pragmatic strategies with Stoic principles, helping individuals differentiate between what they can control and what they must learn to navigate.
She incorporates art therapy, journaling, play techniques, mindfulness, and positive psychology to help clients externalize their internal challenges and master emotional self-regulation.
Her clinical practice deeply emphasizes supporting the entire family ecosystem, offering dedicated parental guidance, co-parenting strategies, and systemic relationship support to strengthen family dynamics during challenging transitions.
Her philosophy aligns with the words of D.W. Winnicott: “Inside every child there is a story that needs to be told.” Emmanuelle believes every young person has a unique voice, and her role is to provide the clinical tools and space for that voice to emerge.
Emmanuelle specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young women navigating complex emotional, developmental, and relational challenges, including:
Emotional Regulation & Self-Reflection: Guiding clients to identify, process, and regulate intense emotions using pragmatic tools, Stoic concepts, and creative self-reflection practices.
Art Therapy & Creative Modalities: Utilizing art-based interventions and expressive techniques to facilitate deep emotional processing and self-discovery.
Anxiety & Adjustment Disorders: Supporting children and teens experiencing acute stress, panic, somatic symptoms, and major life transitions, particularly those impacted by parental separation or divorce.
Family Systemic Support: Providing co-parenting guidance, parental direction, and therapy aimed at restructuring and harmonizing whole family dynamics.
Adolescent Mental Health & High-Risk Interventions: Specialized therapeutic support for adolescents during critical life transitions, addressing severe depression, eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa), and acute clinical risk.
Young Women’s Empowerment & Self-Care: Working closely with girls and young women on nurturing self-worth, identity, body image, and personal self-care practices.
Trauma & Resilience: Helping young clients navigate deep-seated trauma, low self-esteem, and complex life stressors.
Her clinical background spans educational and therapeutic environments. She has supported clients with rare developmental and learning challenges, where her focus on self-worth and positive engagement deeply shaped her therapeutic outlook.
Her Master’s research, “The Influence of the Self on Selfie Behavior among Lebanese Adolescents,” explored how self-perception and digital identity impact adolescent behavior, enriching her contemporary understanding of teenage development, body image, and self-esteem.
