Camali provides a range of support groups and programmes for children between the ages of 2 and 19 who are experiencing mental health difficulties that may result in prolonged depression, absences from school, or social situations, as well as various adult programmes and support groups. The Day Therapy Centre holds these programmes on a weekly and monthly basis.
The comprehensive programmes on offer provide an environment that individualises the needs of each person in groups and individual therapy sessions.
Programmes include School Readiness Programme, social skills groups for younger children, after school community groups and parent groups.
The Training Centre includes two learning zones, an individual study room and a chill-out room.
Our therapy programmes for children are conducted by the industry’s leading child psychiatrists and clinical psychologists
Led by a Licensed Psychologist and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, our School Readiness Program makes it easier for children ages 3 to 6 to transition from the home environment to a KG1 school environment.
The program provides children with numerous opportunities to develop basic academic skills while focusing on their individual needs and areas for development. Backed by thorough research and analysis, the program seeks to equip children with the knowledge and foundation they will need to adapt to KG1. It is a program unique to Camali Clinic’s children therapy centre.
Bounce Back Adolescent Day Programme
Our Bounce Back programme provides valuable support to adolescents ages 12 to 19 who are going through emotional, psychological and/or behavioural challenges. Using a combination of therapeutic sessions, expressive therapy and study skills sessions, the program encourages and supports students who are experiencing difficulties at school, are missing classes regularly, or are about to quit school. The program aims to bring them back on their feet and gain the confidence to do well at school.
Community Support Groups
Through our Community Support Groups, we provide adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 a safe and welcoming social space where they can form friendships with like-minded teens and bond over group activities. While providing young people with a place where they feel at home and empowered, the program also offers a support circle to parents who have children with special needs.
We have dedicated day therapy centres located in Dubai Healthcare City and on Al Khallej Al Arabi Street in Abu Dhabi.
