School Based support services
Observation and Screening
Service Description: Assist the school during admission tests or where needed for early identification of possible needs and further assessments. The formal screening tests can be provided for both speech and language, and motor skills. This will include a screening of each child, a screening report and recommendation letter for parents, and a summary sheet of all children screened provided to the school.
Duration and frequency: Monthly depending on demand

School-based Therapy
Service Description: ABA, Speech and Occupational Therapy, within the school day after school hours and these may include 1:1 or group therapy are where needed for social, language and motor, at a reduced fee (On-line and/or clinic-based therapy sessions in our DHCC or JLT branches can be scheduled as an alternative due to COVID-19).

Assestments
Service Description: Assesments such psychoeducational assessments measuringintelligence and cognitive functioning, as per the need of the student(s), can be provided.After completion, a comprehensive written report, with findings, recommendations with both long-term and short-term goals will be identified for the student(s).
Student Support Services
School Shadow Services
Service Description: The School Shadow services is designed to support the child within the school setting, maximize learning and promote inclusion. The role of the school shadow is to implement strategies that have been developed based on individual needs, to support the child in learning from the class teacher; generalizing previously learned skills to the school environment; socializing with peers; and managing problem behaviours. Ultimately, the goal is for the child to gain a level of independence and functioning whereby the school shadow can be faded out, and the child can attend school independently.
Duration and frequency: Camali offers various options for School Shadowing and School Support packages that are flexible and can be changed according to the child’s and family’s needs.

School Readiness Programme
Service Description: The School Readiness Program (SRP) is a unique service offered by Camali Clinic. The SRP program is designed for children (ages 3-6) to bridge the program from the home environment to a KG1 school environment. The program’s structure is similar to that of a mainstream school (such as having circle time, snack time, work lessons that involve different themes, etc.). However, the curriculum is personalized to your child’s needs and the areas where skill acquisition is needed. The program is supervised by both a Licensed Psychologist and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
Duration and frequency: Sunday to Thursday 8:30 am to 1:00 PM, for three terms. September to December , January to March and April to July at the Day Therapy Centre, Camali Clinic, located in Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), and Jumeirah Lakes Tower (JLT).

Language Stimulation Group
Service Description: This group is for any child from 2 to 6 years old, presenting with language learning difficulties particularly compared to other children of his/her age group. In addition to aspects such as limited vocabulary, reduced or incorrectly structured sentences, problems communicating his/her needs, emotions sometimes leading to tantrums. Relational difficulties between the child and his/her family may appear because communication is reduced, and frustrations rise. At school, the child may have difficulties understanding instructions, and his/her social life sometimes suffers from his/her communication difficulties.
Duration and frequency: 2 days a week from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Camali Clinic, Dubai Healthcare City.

Drop-In – After-School Community Group
Service Description: This group was initiated to offer young people a safe, nonjudgmental space to meet other like-minded teens and participate in activities. The group provides a social space that helps young people feel a sense of belonging and empowerment while doing various group activities. It aims at children between the ages of 12 and 16 who experience emotional, psychological, and/or behavioural problems.
Duration and frequency: 3 days a week from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Camali Clinic, Dubai Healthcare City.
