Dr. Modhar is a Consultant Psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience in comprehensive mental health care, specializing in Adult Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatric Disorders. His career has taken him across various psychiatric departments in Norway and Iraq, including his tenure at Oslo University Hospital, where he honed his expertise in pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy. He also holds a specialization in Occupational Medicine from Baghdad, which complements his psychiatric practice by offering a holistic view of mental health care for adults.

Dr. Modhar’s clinical focus includes diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, Adult ADHD, Bipolar Affective Disorder, Psychotic Disorders, Somatization Disorders, and Liaison Psychiatry. He is particularly passionate about the management of Bipolar Disorder, applying evidence-based treatments to help patients achieve stability and improve their quality of life. His approach combines pharmacotherapy with psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), allowing for tailored treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each adult patient.
