Getting to a clinic is not always easy. A schedule with no room in it, difficulty travelling, or simply feeling more comfortable at home. None of these should be the reason somebody does not get the support they need.
Our home service brings the same quality of care you would receive at our clinics directly to your home: therapy sessions, psychological assessments, counselling and follow-up appointments. Every session is carried out by a DHA-licensed clinician, is fully confidential, and is shaped around what you need rather than around what fits a room.
A home visit is an outpatient appointment at a different address, not an emergency service. If someone is at immediate risk, see our referral and emergency guidance.
Who a home visit suits
The service is for anyone who would benefit from being seen somewhere familiar. In practice, people arrive at it for one of six reasons.
Adults with no room in the day
A working week that leaves no realistic slot for a clinic appointment is a reason people stop treatment halfway. A visit at home removes the travelling on both sides of the session.
Anyone who finds leaving home hard
Anxiety, agoraphobia or panic can make the journey to a clinic the hardest part of the treatment. Starting at home is often what makes starting possible.
Older adults, and people recovering
Recovering from illness or surgery, or living with reduced mobility, should not decide whether mental health care happens.
Adolescents
Some young people speak far more freely at their own kitchen table than in a consulting room, and the first sessions are where that matters most.
Families with young children
Seeing a child in the room they actually live in tells a clinician things a clinic visit cannot, and spares a family the logistics of getting everyone there.
After a hospital discharge
The weeks after discharge are when continuity matters most and when getting to appointments is hardest. Home visits keep the thread from breaking.

Initial psychiatric assessment
A thorough evaluation of your mental health, your history and your current concerns, carried out in the privacy of your own home.
Medication review and management
Your psychiatrist reviews current prescriptions, discusses side effects or concerns, and adjusts where clinically appropriate.
Follow-up consultations
Regular check-ins to monitor progress and confirm the treatment plan is still the right one.
Diagnostic evaluation
Assessment for conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD and ADHD, among others.
Urgent evaluation
An assessment for a patient who needs to be seen quickly and cannot attend the clinic. This is not an emergency service. If a life is at risk, see our referral and emergency guidance.
Care coordination
Your psychiatrist liaises with the therapists and other specialists involved in your care, so a plan agreed at home is the plan everyone is working to.

2.We match you to a clinician
Based on what you need, when you are free and where in Dubai you are. If a home visit is not the right form of care for the question you are asking, we will say so.
3.We confirm the appointment
Date, time, the clinician’s name and anything you need to know beforehand, confirmed before the visit rather than on the day.
4.Your clinician arrives
A DHA-licensed clinician arrives at the agreed time, ready to begin in a calm and private setting.
5.We follow up
After the session we are in touch about next steps, ongoing support and any follow-up appointments.
Coverage, fees and insurance
Where we come. The home service currently covers Dubai: Jumeirah, Downtown, Business Bay, Arabian Ranches and everywhere in between. If you are not sure whether we reach your area, call and we will tell you straight away.
Insurance. We accept direct billing from major insurance providers for eligible home visit services, and the team confirms your cover before the appointment. The insurance page lists the providers we work with.
Without insurance. We are happy to discuss fees directly. Contact us for a quote based on what you need and where you are. The honest answer depends on both, so we would rather give you a real number than a range.
Preparing for the visit
There is almost nothing to do. A quiet room where you and your clinician can talk without being interrupted is the only thing we ask for; your clinician brings everything else.
If the appointment is for a child, it helps if the space is one they already feel at ease in. If somebody else is at home, decide beforehand whether they are joining the session. That is your choice, and it is easier made in advance than at the door.
Who is coming
You will be told the name of your clinician when the appointment is confirmed, and you can read their profile, qualifications and languages on our team pages before they arrive.
