Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
for Dubai Workplaces
Partner with Camali Clinic’s multidisciplinary team to cultivate a healthier and more resilient workforce. We offer professional mental health support, referral guidance and optional workplace services, tailored to your organisation’s specific needs and confirmed in writing before launch.
What Is an Employee Assistance Programme?
An EAP is an employer-sponsored service that supports eligible employees with personal or work-related concerns. It may include short-term counselling, guidance and referrals to another appropriate service when longer-term or different care is needed. Employees should check access, privacy and any limits before using the service.
An EAP is not for performance reviews or discipline and does not replace health insurance or emergency services. The contract and employee information must explain exactly what is included.
EAP Services
The final service menu depends on the written agreement with each organisation.
Confidential Counselling
Direct and private professional support for eligible employees experiencing personal, emotional or work-related concerns.
Stress and Burnout-Related Support
Individualised support that considers the employee’s situation and appropriate next steps. An EAP can support a person, but it does not remove the employer’s responsibility to address organisational psychosocial risks within its control.
Work-Life Balance Concerns
Support for concerns that may affect wellbeing or daily functioning, while maintaining clear boundaries between counselling, coaching and clinical care.
Referral Guidance
When a need falls outside the EAP scope or session allowance, the clinician can discuss suitable next steps. Any additional service, insurance pathway or personal cost should be explained before the employee proceeds.
Optional Organisational Support
Manager consultation, workplace mental health awareness sessions, critical-incident support or other services should be listed as included or optional in the written agreement. They must not be implied if they are not contracted.
How the Programme Works
1.Understand the Workforce and Objective
Camali Clinic and the organisation discuss workforce size, locations, languages, work patterns, current support, access needs and the problem the programme should address.
2.Agree the Service and Governance
The written proposal defines eligibility, services, session allowance, access channels, operating hours, professional team, locations, fees, data roles, confidentiality, safeguarding, escalation, reporting and exclusions.
3.Create a Clear Employee Pathway
Employees need clear, private information on who can use the EAP, how to contact Camali Clinic, what the employer can see, what happens at first contact and where to go in an emergency.
4.Review the Service Under the Approved Reporting Model
Where reporting is included, the agreement should specify what can be reported, whether information is aggregated, any minimum reporting threshold and the controls used to reduce re-identification risk.
How Employees Can Access Support
Check Your Eligibility and Access Route
Use the approved EAP information provided at launch to confirm who is eligible, which channel to use and whether self-referral or another access step applies. The information should explain what an employee needs to share at each stage.
Complete a Private Initial Contact
Before support begins, Camali Clinic should confirm the relevant EAP scope, explain what information is required and provide the approved privacy notice.
Receive the Support Included in the Programme
The number, type and format of sessions depend on the employer’s agreement. Camali Clinic should explain the allowance, any limitations and possible next steps before additional costs arise.
Plan What Happens Next
Some concerns can be managed with brief support; others may require longer-term therapy, psychiatric review, specialist or emergency care. A referral does not guarantee EAP or insurance coverage.
Confidentiality and Employer Reporting
Employees need a clear privacy notice rather than a vague assurance.
The employee notice should state whether the employer can see service use, what programme reporting includes and how re-identification risk is reduced.
Before using the service, employees should receive the approved notice on legal, safety or safeguarding limits; record control and storage; retention and data location; and how to raise privacy questions. Camali Clinic’s current Privacy Policy should also remain easy to find.

EAP, Health Insurance and Longer-Term Care
An EAP usually provides a defined amount of brief support under an employer agreement. Health-insurance benefits follow separate eligibility and authorisation, and longer-term or specialist care may require a co-payment or personal cost.
Camali Clinic should explain the options before an employee moves beyond the EAP service. Coverage or clinical suitability should never be assumed from this page.
An EAP is not for performance reviews or discipline and does not replace health insurance or emergency services.
Frequently Asked Questions
EAP stands for Employee Assistance Programme. It is a defined, employer-sponsored service for eligible employees. It is not an Employment Assessment Programme.
EAP counselling is intended to provide a private route to support, but the exact confidentiality and reporting terms depend on the approved Camali Clinic privacy model and employer agreement. Before the service begins, the employee information should explain what is private, whether any information is reported to the employer and any legal, safety or safeguarding limits.
This cannot be answered from a generic EAP page. The approved employee notice must state exactly what, if anything, the employer can see, whether use of the service is visible and how programme reporting works.
Access arrangements depend on the organisation’s programme. The launch information should state whether employees self-refer, which channel to use and whether a referral is required.
The session allowance varies by employer agreement. Employees should be told about the allowance and what happens when it is used before beginning support.
The employer agreement determines what is funded. Camali Clinic should explain any service that falls outside the programme and any potential personal cost before it is booked.
Eligibility is contract-specific. The organisation’s programme information must state whether dependants, family members, contractors or other groups are included.
Available formats, locations, hours and languages depend on the agreement and professional availability. Confirm these details through the designated EAP access route.
The clinician can discuss an appropriate referral. The next service may sit outside the EAP and may require insurance approval or personal payment; this should be made clear before you proceed.
EAP access is not automatically an emergency or 24/7 service. The programme information will state whether any crisis service is included and its operating hours. If there is immediate danger, use the appropriate UAE emergency service or the emergency contact provided by your organisation. See Camali Clinic’s Referral and Emergency information.
Use the corporate enquiry form and share workforce size, locations, preferred timing, access needs and services of interest. Do not include an employee’s health information.
Support for the Organisation
and the Individual
An EAP gives employees access to support, but an EAP alone cannot resolve workload, role conflict, bullying, poor job control or other organisational psychosocial risks. Employers should combine individual support with appropriate policy, leadership, job design and prevention measures.
Camali Clinic can separately discuss workplace mental health awareness sessions or mental health webinars where those services fit the organisation’s needs.

Request a Tailored EAP Proposal
Please provide details about your workforce, locations, access requirements and current support. Camali Clinic will assess your enquiry and confirm the information needed for a tailored proposal.
If someone is in immediate danger, use the appropriate UAE emergency service rather than this form. See our Referral and Emergency information.
