Dr. Maalouf is a respected figure in the medical community, boasting a certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with several years of clinical practice focused on aiding children and their families.
Graduating with an MD from the renowned American University of Beirut, he undertook rigorous training in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the illustrious Harvard Medical School. His training was further enriched by his association with reputed hospitals such as the Boston VA Healthcare system, Massachusetts General Hospital, and McLean Hospital.
Currently, Dr. Maalouf holds esteemed positions at premier academic institutions in Lebanon and the USA whilst also having the permissions to practice in the UAE, Lebanon, and the USA.
An honored member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Dr. Maalouf also has the privilege of being part of the founding committee of the Arab Board of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Equipped with an expansive clinical acumen, Dr. Maalouf excels in treating a wide array of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders. This includes neurodevelopmental disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, as well as depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and more.
