Elijah Okall is an Occupational Therapist with over 14 years of specialized experience in medical rehabilitation, pediatric interventions, and mental health. Elijah worked for the Association for the Physically Disabled of Kenya (APDK), a charitable NGO operating through a three-tier model of Community Outreach, Community Rehabilitation, and Static Clinics. He subsequently ventured into private practice as the Founder and Lead Therapist of Personalized Therapy Clinic. His previous clinical and leadership roles included Head of Unit – Rehabilitation Department at Dr. Majdi El Halik Physical and Mental Rehabilitation Center, Senior Occupational Therapist at Autism Rocks Resource Center, and Occupational Therapist 1 at Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital.

Elijah practices “Occupations” as a profession, equipping children, adolescents, and adults with essential tools to participate in meaningful activities and live their lives to the fullest. As an Ayres Sensory Integration Certified therapist and DIR (Developmental, Individual differences, Relationship-based model of human development) Floor time Certified therapist, his primary areas of interest focus on early intervention, school readiness skills, learning support assistance, classroom accommodations, and support for special needs children and their families to Adult Mental Health Care.

His therapeutic approach is deeply influenced by his own experience as a parent, which fostered his empathy, broadened his understanding of family dynamics, and established his commitment to stepping beyond traditional clinic walls to support families within their everyday environments. His professional associations include the Kenya Occupational Therapists Association (KOTA), Emirates Medical Association, ACAMH (Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health), and Mental Health First Aid U.A.E.
